The game cube is my son's favorite thing right now...he requested an icecream cake, so this was filled with icecream and then iced with IMBC. The characters were added when the cake came out of the freezer--they were freehanded from candymelts.

This is my attempt at the tie-dyed look. Not as easy as I had thought it would be. It is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing. Edible spray paint with a spatula ran through it.

Made this for a co-worker. The little boy was so excited with it he didn't want anyone to cut into it.

A friend wanted this for her DJ boyfriend, and this was definitely a first for me! I used fondant for all of the decorations, and just made two 8" rounds, and placed them side by side. For the microphone, I used Rice Krispie treats, and then covered it with fondant, and painted it with Luster Dust. She wanted a crab around because he sometimes gets "crabby"...

This is a 12" white cake with White Buttercream Icing topped with approx. 50 roses. There's a Wilton book that has a similar cake on the cover with 2 shades of pink roses. I made that one a week prior to this one. My aunt wanted a white cake with red roses and so I chose the same design because I wanted to see the pink one in another color.

The tiered cake was one I found on the internet. My thanks to the designer! I made it a yellow cake with Buttercream Icing. The dots, stripes, and bows are all made from rolled fondant. The Strawberry Shortcake was made of strawberry cake for my neice to "tear into" for her first birthday (I forgot the eyelashes - oops!). The cupcakes and the small strawberry are also strawberry cake. The candy pieces were bought.

This was my first attempt at stacking. I traveled with this already stacked, the tep. was 94 degrees outside, but had the van cooled before transporting. It was for my grandmothers 90th birthday party. All white cake with bavarian filling in one layer, lemon in another and the bottom layer had strawberry filling. I see room for lots of improvment before my daughters wedding cake in Sept. This was a "tril cake" for me. The frosting was all ivory buttercreme.

Not one of my best - second time trying FBCT and this time on an ice cream cake. I made the ice cream cake at home and decorated it since my hubby doesn't like cake (go figure). It was 3 layers of ice cream (butter pecan, Nestle Crunch, and cookie dough) and two layers of brownies. I learned that it is difficult to get icing on an ice cream cake smooth because it starts to melt as you are frosting! Also, the FBCT doesn't have time to melt into the the icing since you can't leave it out without melting!

This is just another view. The towel is made of airheads pressed together. It was 95 degrees and very humid that day, so everything was a bit melty ;(

This is my bobcat cake. I made this kind of as a joke for my dad. So, I didn't want it to be a six hour project!!!! I didn't ice it first or anything like that.
