This is the 2nd CoC cake I have done for this unit. I was very happy with this one. I think this is the smoothest I have EVER gotten my icing! Mocha cake (Lady Cakes Recipe) & Vanilla Cream Icing. I was glad I had to trim it because the mocha cake is delicious!!

This cake was inspired by Boween's Western Bridal Cake. She has never-ending talent and I love her work!!!

Cake created for a little boy turning 8 years old. He wants to be a bullrider when he grows up. His Mommy didn't want the bull bucking him though...she is scared of that! LOL!!!

Cake is covered in MMF and the bull and cowboy are made of MMF with tylose powder. Everything is edible (with the exception of the ring in the bulls nose!!)

My kids love Monster Jam, so I made this cake last year. (1 of 2 Monster Jam cakes I've made) The truck is made out of frozen pound cakes. and the "dirt" track is cake with white frosting and of course, grahm crackers! The tires are chocolate covered cruller donoughts.

A customer's hubby works at the NY Stock Exchange and wanted something representing that. So here's my attempt at replicating the "Charging Bull" statue. I used 3 9" x 13" sheet cakes carved and positioned on a cake board which is suspended by a block of styrofoam covered in black paper. The entire head and legs are carved styrofoam. Everything is covered in fondant then airbrushed brown and painted with bronze lusterdust. I'm pretty happy with the way it came except for the seams. I have to work on that!!

This is cut from a sheet cake and then from scrap pieces I raised the horns and eyes to give the cake some extra dimension. The little boy that this was for just about flipped out when he saw it!

Birthday cake for my son. Bull shark. Tail & I didn't get along. Cake is made of red velvet. BC frosting. Fins are RCT. I feel I could have done a better job frosting the fins. The tail needed internal support which I didn't think of until the party. LOL Hind sight is 20/20.

This is a cake....Working from ONE photo of dog..... Rice crispy treats covered in gumpaste, relief features added with small pieces of gumpaste. Then covered with another layer of gumpaste. All paintwork is hand brushed effect. Yellow, light brown then darker brown with some light gold dust blown in for depth. I added signs...One has Beware of Dog...but, Smoky got hungry and bit part of it off. The other sign is theHappy Birthday ,the person the cake was made for is also a chef. he LOVED it.
