I made this cake last year for my son's 2nd birthday. His theme was Bob the Builder, and I did it all with BC from the Wilton pan. Nothing real special here, but I wanted to upload it too since I've done so few cakes.

Double layer chocolate fudge cake with chocolate pudding filling. Decorated in buttercream icing. Used the Bob the Builder pan to make a house builder looking like our neighbour who turns 60 tomorrow. The shirt has the Habitat for Humanity symbol (or close enough that he should be able to recognize it) on it since he is very involved in this group.

I made these for a customer. She really wanted the tool candles that she bought to be incoorporated, so I made the toolbox smash cake to go along. All chocolate cake with all buttercream.

This was made for a little boy who liked both Thomas & Bob and his mom couldn't make her mind up which one to have as the cake. I decided to make Bob as the model and gave him a hammer so it would look like he'd put the sign up.

I made this cake using fondant. I then traced the picutre of Bob using the pin prick method and used royal to pipe the outline and then hand painted the inside. I used royal for the sides of the cake and the piping.

I was 8 weeks postpartum w/baby #2 and didn't have time to do anything elaborate for my son, so I used his toys to create his Bob the Builder birthday cake. I was pleased with the results - and of course he loved it!

I made this cake from "Little Heroes" character cake pan. I couldn't find a Bob the Builder anywhere!! I posted this in case anyone else has this problem. I put it on a sheetcake and I was done. I also purchased the candles from wilton.

This is the rest of the cake I made for my female boss' birthday. We work in a construction company...it is made of marzipan. I haven't practised for ages, and I forgot how fun it was to modell characters !

Cake covered in MMF, tires covered in chocolate clay, and front loader and back hoe are made of gum paste. Took me a week to make of the pieces for this cake. My grandson just loved it. He refused to let us cut it. Saving the patterns on this one for my book.
