Porter paint style can. The handle broke so I didn't have time to let the new one dry, I used candy sticks to hold it up. It was for my dad who teaches painting as a career to high school drop outs or kicked out teens.

Made for my nephew's 5th Birthday, was told he couldn't have popcorn until he was 5, so he had a Popcorn Party (with Movie). Super easy and fun to make. 3 round cakes, BC frost and Carmel Popcorn for popcorn :). The kids just kept grabbing some as they walked by- we just added more. Thanks for looking.

This cake is 2 8" cakes stacked on top of 2 6" cakes. The cakes are covered in buttercream icing and covered with brown sugar to look like sand. The hibiscus flowers are made of gumpaste and the seashells are made of white chocolate.

This cake was a hard one. Putting the fondant only on the side wasn't the easiest thing....I think I did it the hard way. lol. Anywho, it was a chocolate cake with a choco mousse. Covered with MMF, rock candy, gummy limes. The mound of white is "salt" white crystals. The bottle is rice crispy treats. Thanks for looking

Saw another one of these on this site (theirs was great!!) ao I thought I would try one for a wine tasting party I am going to this weekend. Does anyone know of a better green color for a wine bottle? This green was too bright!

This was inspired by others here in the gallery...Thank you all! This is 4 layers with MMF. I had a very hard time with the MMF this time and was diappointed in the final product. However this cake was a HIT! I think I might try buying the fondant next time!

I had a client request a cake for her DH and wanted to know if I could make a Ford t-bucket cake like his. I had to add a hood because I knew I couldn't do an open engine. They absolutely loved it. I really wanted to see his expression when I dropped it off but it was a surprise so I settled for the expression on the lady's face that met me when I delivered it. It was chocolate cake covered in mmf. The tires, wheels, windshield and headers were made out of chocolate modeling clay. Thanks for looking.

I did this cake for my boyfriend, who loves popcorn, on his birthday. It is chocolate cake w/ buttercream icing and MMF stripes. The popcorn is made from mini-marshmallows that I sliced into quarters then smashed together and sprayed yellow. Everyone kept squinting their eyes and asking if the popcorn was real.

Apr 15, 2007 it is. I ended up using silk flowers..and I don't think it turned out too bad. I do need to paint in the cracks of the barrels, so it's not blue inside there. :) I really like how the barrel turned out, but don't like my fence around the bottom. It needs flowers or something, but I'm too tired to do it. :) Thanks to Moydear (I believe) for the idea!

Well I have to thank SweetResults, Patton78 and Kelly75 for all their help in getting me through this cake. I made this for my new son in law as his grooms cake. I put a sign up saying " yes this is a real cake" but people were poking their fingers at it per "IndyDeb" who catered the wedding. The cake was choc with choc icing and of course fondant planks, sugar bottles and ice. The labels were done online with pic's of my dd and sil. Everyone got a kick out of it...

Beach ball, flip flops, and two beach pails all covered in fondant. I cooked the buckets on flower pots to get the shape and cut the flip flops out of a 6'" square. The sand is natural sugar.

The hat on this cake was a replica of the hat the bride is wearing for her wedding. ( I really struggled with this cake as the actually hat was truely not very pretty. I made it as pretty as I possibly could!)

I made this as a thank you to my son's kindergarten teacher. It is a large cookie. Probably close to 8 x 10 but I didn't measure it. I think I will write something like : I am looking forward to the future thanks to you! " on her card.

I made this cake for one of my sisters friends. I ran into a few problems with the bottles, but when i finally figured it out it was very simple. Thanks to SweetResults for giving me the instructions on how to make them. The cake was iced in BC and the bottles & ice were made of sugar. I used two 10" and two 12" pans for this cake.

Thanks so much to SweetResults for all of the help and guidance on this one. I finally got it done! I wasn't exactly 100% happy with it but my husband and everyone who came to the party thought it was awesome. This was made for my husband's 40th birthday.

Thanks to several of you for your inspiration for this cake. The
castle is an orange pineapple cake covered with buttercream and vanilla wafers. The ball and bucket are rice kripies covered in fodant. Doing this cake brought back fond memories of childhood days at Florida's beaches.

Procrastination is an ugly thing, threw it together in about 3-4 hours. Everyone loved it anyways--even lopsided, bulging, and falling apart. Don't they always? P.S. This was the "good" side. :) Strawberry cake (doctored mix from here), Cheesecake filling. Nilla Wafer, Graham Cracker, and brown sugar sand. MMF and Buttercream. Shells are molded white chocolate merckens. Made for the "Summer Birthdays" party our family throws every year.
