14" round- Bride's White Cake; 10" round- Buttermilk Devil's Food Cake; 9" heart- Chocolate Amaretto Cake; all filled with Raspberry filling ( all iced with Buttercream/White Chocolate icing. The pink is from the filling- I had a little disaster with the big cake, so I made it look like I did it one purpose. Got a lot of compliments on it (*sigh* if they only knew)

This was done for a wedding shower. I used a 6inch and a 10inch cake...carrot with cream cheese filling. The lilies were made of royal icing. I used a impression mat to do the diagonal on the cake. Also made fondant pearls rolled in luster dust ahead of time. Thanks for looking. :)

This was my first attempt at a present cake. It was for a bridal shower. The smaller square was chocolate cake and the larger was vanilla. It is iced and decorated in buttercream. The orchids are silk and mirror the ones to be used in the bride's bouquet. The silver beads above the border were purchased from Michael's--they gave me lots of trouble!Although I was happy with the way it turned out, I had a tough time trying to figure out how to do the ribbon. Any good tips on this would be greatly appreciated!

Well, here is my bridal shower cake I made for my SIL. This was my version of the cake on the insert of the 11X15 Performance pan. I wiped off the names twice and finally got it somewhat presentable. The first time I wiped it off it was fine. The second time I wiped it off it messed up the icing!:(

Ok...this is my first official cake ...I got the idea from Wilton's Celebrating with Fondant book. I did this for my sisters bridal shower. The cake and flowers are all made from fondant. I had a lot of fun putting it all together.

The wedding invitation had a bride and a groom building a sandcastle, so when I was asked to do the bridal shower cake, I was inspired! :) Bride and Groom are from the Celebrate with Fondant book from Wilton. Sandcastle mold is from Williams-Sonoma. Sand is crushed vanilla wafers and raw sugar. Seashells are white chocolate brushed with luster dust

This was almost a complete nighmare. It is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. Unfortunately it was not the crusting cream cheese icing and it was so hard to work with and try to get smooth. The stripes are made of MMF which wanted to break when I picked up the strips to put ont he cake. I think the MMF was too soft because of all the color I had to add to achieve the correct red and black colors.

Made foe a friend's Bridal Shower. I am not pleased with them.. but that could be because of the DRAMA surrounding their getting made... The Bride and Groom (and everyone else at the shower) however LOVE LOVE LOVED them!!! Yeah! And this was my first PAID order! YIPPEEE!!!! I got called so they could tell me how yummy they were! All green and pink and two minis are chocolate with strawberry/rum cream filling, the white center is a BROWNIE (for the groom who hates cake). All BC icing. Roses are striped!

Colorful rolled fondant cake I made while on a trip to Russia. We had to find glucose, but were able to make the entire thing from scratch ingredients as usual. Great cake for a bridal shower.

I made this cake for a Paris-inspired wedding shower. I had a gold and crystal Eiffel tower ornament that I wanted to include (on top of the puffed heart cake). The stacked cakes are covered in fondant and decorated with chocolate-covered tuxedo and dress strawberries, as well as fondant roses. Sorry the details are so difficult to see!

This cake was made for someone my sister works with. She was getting married on some island so my sister and her co-workers wanted a beach themed cake. The writing on the cake says "Eat, Drink and Be Married" (this was also on her wedding invitations). The cake was F.Vanilla with Almond Buttercream frosting. All the shells and the palm trees were made from chocolate. I also used sanding sugar for the beach.

2nd beach themed cake and much easier then the 1st. (Used fondant to make trees, flower, shells, etc.- very time consuming!). This was fun to do and the bride to be loved it. You can't tell in the pic but I used the edible glitter and the "sand" looked very real.
