I made this for my son's birthday when he wanted to have a Spongebob Theme. It is a 1/4 sheet cake with BC icing and the seaweed is Royal Icing. The pineapple is made from 2 small cakes baked in a fluted pan and inverted on each other.

This was for my daugher's 4th birthday. I got so many ideas for this cake from others on this site! I have never used royal icing or candymelts but as you can see it makes all the difference. The flowers and leaves are candy melt and royal icing. I used a Viva paper towel to smooth the water and graham cracker crust for the sand. I used a can to bake the pineapple. Sponge bob is an icing plaque and the shells are also candy melts. Nobody could believe it was entirely edible..Thanks guys!

I made this cake for my sister's "bottoms and bibs" themed shower. Everyone LOVED it!! Used two round cake pans, and cut some off of the one for the head. Feet are made from dried royal icing. I also made cookies that matched the cake that said "Thanks" on the butt as party favors. Got the idea from Wilton's themed cookies

This was the first time I did SPonge Bob for my daughter - but the first time she wanted a scene from Bikini Bottom. Bob's pineapple hut is two doll cakes covered in butter cream with fondant leaves, Squidward's tiki house is three 6" rounds covered in fondant, and Patrick's rock is some leftover cake trimmings covered in fondant.

This was a difficult cake for me to do. The roses were made out of RI, as well as the hearts on the sides of the pillars. Note* Always make way more than you need in case they break in transport. After traveling over an hour to the hall, taking over an hour to assemble...the pay off was worth it. Both bride and guests were well pleased! The kids even got to take home a flower!

This cake was for my girlfriends son who turned 7 over the weekend. The pineapple is two small round cakes with a mini wonder mold on top, covered with MMF. The leaves on top are also MMF. Edible images because I was too chicken to do chocolate transfers! Maybe next time when I'm feeling more brave and have more time:-)

I thought of this concept for my 2nd cousin's 3rd birthday. It's all made out of buttercream icing & done by hand. I did all the jellyfish individually with buttercream icing as well. It took me 3-4 days.

This is a spongebob themed under the sea cake... actually the only thing spongebob about it is the candle topper. The top section is white with bavarian filling and the bottome is chocolate with chocolate bavarian filling. Thanks for everyones help on this and the ideas I got off of the site, all invaluable to me :)

These are vanilla cupcakes filled with pastry cream and frosted with whipped vanilla buttercream. The decorations were made out of royal icing in separate pieces, and then assembled with more royal icing. The faces were drawn on with a wilton food-writer.

Sole of pair of shoes. Trying to figure out how to keep it from flopping over. Lots of thanks to people here on CC for giving me tips! (edited to add: found out today that the bottom of a Van's shoe looks/has same texture as a Yoga mat. Will try using the Yoga mat for the design bottom next time! LOL)

This is the third time I've made this cake with a few modifications. Cake is covered in RBC. The Pineapple is RKT covered in fondant. I used a diamond shaped cookie cutter to make the texture of the pineapple then I painted it with food coloring and vanilla extract.

My daughters nickname is apple jo-jo and her favorite song right now is Low by Flo Rida so he just HAD TO HAVE apple bottom jeans for her cake. There were so many to inspire me from this site I thought I would give it a try. This was my first bum cake and I have plans for more in the future. I thought of a million things to add or differently for the next time.

I've seen baby bum cakes on CC and drooled over them, thinking they're just the cutest things EVER! And I finally had an opportunity to try one! Yay! This was for a baby shower at work yesterday. Everyone seemed to love it! Booty is RKT covered in fondant, legs, blanket and "stuffed" turtle are fondant. They're doing the nursery in frogs and turtles so I wanted to incorporate that into the cake. :)
