This cake was made for some very special young ladies. The top 2 tiers are vegan chocolate cake and the bottom is a regular chocolate. It is covered in fondant and decorated with fondant skulls, flowers and hearts along with RI. It was a lot of fun to do.

Cake was made using the wilton pan. Covered in buttercream. Stars and confetti/streamers were made from fondant. I used the plastic balloon decoration and made the banner by printing out message on glossy paper. I used lollipop sticks for the banner poles.

This wasn't my best work but my son saw the picture in a catalog and wanted it. I used the horseshoe pan to make it look like a construction site. Then added the mini tonka trucks. My favorite is the cement truck laying the icing! Also his name is hard to read but its suppose to look like boards nailed up. Thanks for looking!

I made this for my daughter-in-law's birthday - she's a big Leafs fan and had requested this months ago. The bottom is a 10" square Butter Cake with Chocolate Kahlua Filling and buttercream icing. The 'leaf' was butter cake as well, carved from an 8" round and iced with buttercream. The letters are fondant/gumpaste cutouts.

the turet is actually a mini telescope, the tires are oreos dipped in thinned black icing and the treads are from Matts tonka tank, we bored for the day, washed it off and put it back on his tank. the dirt around the tank is of course crushed oreos.

This was for a guy's 50th bday. I had pics of his humidor (his was HUGE) and his fav ashtray and cigar and duplicated. EVERYTHING is edible. Cake is 9x9 and the ashtray is the exact size of the real one done in gumpaste. Fun to do!

I made this cake for a co-workers sister. He was thrilled with it.
Marble cake with chocolate BC. Figure is BCTF and flowers are gumpaste (I bought them). Fun cake to make quite simple.

1st off, thanks to SLK for providing me detailed instructions on how to do this! I had a bad feeling going into this one and I was right... lol. It turned out good on my kitchen table at home but after the 2 hour drive to my in-law's for my father in law's 50th surprise party, the bowl had cracked and was sagging horribly. I was able to hide it a bit with the lid but decided against decorating it anymore. I used the small ball pan to do the bowl because that's all I had... frosted in buttercream.

This was my first time working with chocolate/dark fondant as you can probably tell. I was kinda sloppy when 'pasting' the colourful fondant on. In the end though, my sister and all her friend loved it and thought it was great. This wasn't my orginal idea but the fondant was too sticky to work with so this is what I ended up with.

My husband and I did this cake together. Although it wasn't my 1st time to use fondant it was his and he did most of the decorating. We had so much fun and our baby girl loved it. The cakes were strawberry and vanilla with a banana cream filling. We used MMF...i don't like or use anything esle. Still working on the imperfections...we'll get there!!!
