This is my first decorating experience. This was made for my step-brother for his 13th birthday.

It's a cupcake cake. Decorated with whipped frosting. Then airbrushed with green and green sprinkles for grass. The jumps are also make out of a half of a cupcake. The track is Nilla Waffers and Oreo cookies smashed.

Thanks for looking...

This cake is made up of about 12 seperate cakes in fondant, all pushed together like a puzzle. I loved the flames! The "studs" on the seat are edible silver dragees.

The handlebars were beyond my time limit...so I cheated with a piece of black cardboard!

This is a 10X10 white cake iced in buttercream. The image is royal icing, pipes and flames are buttercream and the motorcycle is an official OCC piece. I had never used royal icing before so this was interesting...gotta learn how to work faster so it doesn't start to set up on me like this one did!

The person I made this cake for did not want to cut the bike, I was told he cut around it.

Here is a picture I recently did for my son's 8th birthday. I wasn't too happy with the colors and the shape of the "skateboard ramp" but overall I was satisfied.

I couldn't decide on how to do a dirtbike cake for a 10 year old, but finally came up with this number plate and track. I made stickers of the recipient's number and name to place over the toy.

This was my first decorated cake besides the ones in the classes. It was for my step-son's 3rd birthday about a month after we went to see a motocross race. It's two 13x9 cakes side-by-side...a french vanilla w/ french vanilla pudding and a devil's food chocolate w/ devil's food pudding. The icing is the class BC icing with cocoa added. We crushed Oreos for the dirt, chocolate donuts for the tires, and piled tootsie rolls to make the hills. Got my inspiration for this from a cake posted by melia!

This is the cake that started my interest in cake decorating. I was looking on the internet for ideas for my son's birthday and it took off from there. Actually, now that I have learned more, I would've done this much differently, but for my lack of knowledge and first time working with MMF and my own design, I feel like it turned out pretty well! My family was pretty impressed and my son loved it!

My nephew is a motorcross nut - he's only 6 but already has his own gas powered motor bike. He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and his mom brought me the fake trees and toy bikes to put on top of the cake. The dirt bike path is a mixture of crushed nilla wafers and chocolate graham crackers. The birthday boy was thrilled!

This cake I made for a big gathering where only women would attend. The theme for the party was "Biker Chic" so I came up with the whole "Gas Station in the middle of nowhere" theme

Used airbrush for blue background, piped buttercream for details, and painted over crusted buttercream with luster dusts for the chrome. Bike is cut out of 11x15 sheet.

My first FBCT made to look just like my father-in-law's bike-easier than I expected. Painted chrome w/silver dust. Writing was poor. Too bad the cake box crushed into the top before we got to the party...yes, I'm serious...aaaaccckkkk!

This cake I made for my DH. He went to a guys day out riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. He is suppose to bring a dessert, so he asked me to make a cake with a dirt bike in the pond. His friend put his bike in the pond one day. So my goofy husband wants to be a sh** and tease him. Chocolate cake with BC icing. The dirt track is graham cracker crumbs. The bike is actually a toy.

I had never even been asked to do a dirt bike cake until last week. Now I've done 2 in 1 week! This is an 11x15" sheet. The background is airbrushed, while the motorcycle is a FBCT!

This has been a very popular request recently! Seems like every little boy wants to have a dirt bike. The motorcyle is a FBCT, and the "dirt" is colored graham cracker crumbs.

Harley Davidson logo for a birthday. I used piping gel over the black in the logo to keep the black from bleeding into the white. It worked great and gave the logo a glossy look to it.

I did this for a friend who's husband was turning 40 and getting a harley for his b-day. I made it up as I went along. I cut out bike parts from fondent and placed them on a sheet cake then cut around them to look like a bike, then I painted it with many luster dust colors. This was my first original cake that I designed myself. The flames are airbrushed.

Close-up photo of figure / motorcycle. Both bike and biker are made of fondant. Used pieces of bamboo skewers and shaped wire for structural supports. Unfortunately, the figure was a bit too heavy for the bike once the two were mated, causing the middle of the bike to sag. Flames are painted food coloring. Tail lamp is a leg cut off of a gummi-bear.

Cake made in celebration of a major accomplishment by my brother, an avid Harley Davidson rider. Road and grass are butter cream. Figure and bike are fondant supported with popscicle sticks built into the wheels and motorcycle engine. Whole shebang measured 32" from end to end. The cake was meant to symbolize an open road ahead of him.

This is a cake for my husband who loves his mountain bike. It is a 8 inch madeira covered in orange bc with mmf on top. I normally use shop bought fondant and this was my first try with making my own mmf. I found it a bit stiffer than the fondant I normally use but I think I will improve with pratice. Everything is edible except for the toothpick I used to hold the bike up. The bike is made out of flower paste and painted with colouring paste. The path is crushed cookies.

One regular customer called me last week because her sons wanted me to make their birthday cake. They asked for Sylvester on a motorcycle. one loves Sylvester and the other motorbikes. So they wanted both! Their parents came in to pick up the cake this afternoon and they were very pleased and told me that the kids will really love it! I'm so happy.
It's a fbct. I took two pictures on the net and mixed them to get the right design.

It was a challenge figuring this out, I'm glad my client really liked it. It was for her husband's 50th birthday - he rides a bike. The flames are colour-flow and decorated with fondant pieces, iced in BC.
