This was so hard to make. 12x18 chocolate cake with buttercream icing. My icing wouldn't crust for some reason, so I couldn't smooth it well. Also, the facial details are so small and delicate, I had a terrible time getting it to look right. In the end, I was pleased with all except the eyes - they look kind of goofy. But it was the best I could do! :)

Yet another Sleeping Beauty CCC, my 3rd in 5 weeks - I'm beginning to hate her now lol! Chocolate cupcakes and vanilla buttercream, fbct. Fondant hearts and handmade gold pearls. Royal flowers and the whole thing has my signature disco sparkles! This had to be made dairy free, and the soya margarine was a nightmare to work with (and tasted really horrible!).

I made this cake for twin 6 year old girls' birthday... I'm not really happy with how it turned out, my fondant was just not co-operating today!!! perhaps i'll give it as a freebie...
Also made the fondant swags described in the article on CC... how EASY and fantastic they are!

This was my first "3" doll cakes. I used the wondermold pan and then carved down some 8" rounds underneath the wondermold. The little girl told me what colors each doll was suppose to wear. They were oreo cake with cookies and cream filling, chocolate with white mousse, and white with chocolate mousse. The little girl loved them, but asked her mom if they were going to eat her dolls too, lol!

For 2007 SDCC cake show. Fondant covered with primarily fondant (& some gumpaste) accents. All hand modelled and hand painted. Bottom layer: forest scene including owl, birds, chipmunk, squirrels , gluttonous bunnies and cottage (on back). Middle layer: Prince Phillip battles dragon Maleficent. Top layer: Princess Aurora sleeps in castle tower complete with window and flower box.

10" round & 6" square. Gumpaste walls rolled with the cobblestone impression mat (LOVE THAT THING). Gumpaste towers as well as fondant covered ice cream cones painted with luster dust for tower tops. I used my airbrush for only the 2nd time to color the doors and was really happy with the effect. I cheated and used flowers I purchased at the cake store because it was last minute and I didn't have much time.

This was my daughter's birthday cake. We used an 11x18 sheet cake and wonder mold pan for the dolls. Everything else is buttercream and a few cake sparkles. Also added Cinderella's pumpkin patch. This cake didn't turn out as well as I wanted, but she liked it.

Disney Princess Cake all decoration except for princesses are Buttercream Dream. The Princesses are Lip Gloss Rings I got from Big Lots for $3.00!!! My sister-in-law was turning 22 and wanted a Disney Princess cake so this is what I came up with. I don't think she has every hugged me as hard as she did when saw the like. She said she loved it and everyone loved the way it tasted. It was fun to make. I made the side of ariels flower green to look like her tale. :)

This cake took me 7 hours to create...but to see my 5 year old daughters face when she saw it made it so worth the time and effort. All parts on this cake are edible with the exception of the stand for table, I had to use a lollipop stick. All made from fondant that was hardened.

This was my first time working with fondant other than accent pieces. It was a bit frustrating but I'm happy with the outcome. Got my inspiration from dellykat - thanks!

This is a recreation of my Sleeping Beauty Barbie cake, although I think she came out a little chunky this time, lol! A wondermold on top of a 9" cake (since it is a real Barbie) with buttercream decoration. This is a strawberry marble cake with strawberry mousse filling.

This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. Needed something for someone who graduated beauty college and just started her first job at a beauty salon. Used MMF to make a silhouette type of look for the hair styling tools. MMF rope border.

Following the succesful run of our High School Musical, "Beauty and the Beast", I made this sheet cake for the cast party. I think it was 1/2 yellow cake, 1/2 chocolate cake, with chocolate BC, covered in ganache. The design was freehanded from the cover design, but don't look too close, I can't believe it, but I misspelled "Beauty"! (whoops!)
