This was a learning experience. Many things went wrong, but it was just for a friend who lets me experiment with her needs. It still tased yummy!

Made for my husband's cousin. She came to visit, saw my cake portfolio and ordered this cake for her daughter in the US (I'm in Puerto Rico). She froze the cake and took it with her 2 days later.

Beauty and the Beast Belle cake. Made for my niece's 4th birthday. This is my first doll cake. It is mmf and b/c. The filling was butter cake with banana cream filling. This whole cake was inspired by everyone at CC.

Using the tips from this website, I made this cake for my niece’s birthday. All the kids (and even more adults) were transfixed by it. It was huge! Because I used a real doll (Barbie-size), the wonder mold wasn’t tall enough, so I added an 9-inch round at the bottom. I didn’t like the top ruffle I added at the end (the beads were too “fat”), but the rest of it looked great. Yellow is my niece’s favorite color so the cake was lemon as well.
All buttercream with cake sparkles for shine.

I did this cake this morning for a little girl who was having a princess party. I found a good pic of the magical ballroom and tried to recreate it in the cake.

I made this cake for twin 6 year old girls' birthday... I'm not really happy with how it turned out, my fondant was just not co-operating today!!! perhaps i'll give it as a freebie...
Also made the fondant swags described in the article on CC... how EASY and fantastic they are!

This was my first time working with fondant other than accent pieces. It was a bit frustrating but I'm happy with the outcome. Got my inspiration from dellykat - thanks!

This was my first effort at MMF. I made this cake, the Spider-man buttercream transfer and the Thomas cake all in the same 24 hour period for my kids' combined birthday party. Belle was made using layer cake pans and a bowl with the Belle doll stuck in. The polka dots were cut out using a large tip and then replaced with more tinted MMF cut outs.

Following the succesful run of our High School Musical, "Beauty and the Beast", I made this sheet cake for the cast party. I think it was 1/2 yellow cake, 1/2 chocolate cake, with chocolate BC, covered in ganache. The design was freehanded from the cover design, but don't look too close, I can't believe it, but I misspelled "Beauty"! (whoops!)

I used mini wonder mold pan with pic doll. Used brown frosting and covered dolls hair(it was too short). Use rose petal tip to make the dress
and bodice. Isabella the birthday girl really did a job on this cake at her party.

Here is the cupcake tower I made for my baby sister's Quince. Everyone was expecting the usual tiered cake with fountain. Everyone loved this tower. I was very proud of it. My sister loved and that is all I wanted to hear!!

Belle on a dummy cake covered with white fondant, with white trellis with red roses in the background
(trellis is uneven because part of it broke off, next time I made it I dried it for much longer and then it can last for weeks)
Modelling paste/gumpaste, dress is gumpaste+wilton fondant. I used mould for the head, and painted eyes with
liquid colour, and the lips and cheeks with powder colour. I am till not happy how my 3D figures turn out, I would appreciate some constructive criticism.

This was made for the cast party of a production of Beauty and the Beast that I'm in. The rose, mirror, all plaques, gargoyles and pennants are gumpaste. Otherwise it's royal painted over Chocopan handpainted (since I don't have an airbrush!). I have more pix if you like, I did a handpainted plaque on each side of scenes from the prologue of the movie. It was a huge hit!
