This is hexagon vanilla with raspberry mousse filling & jam & vanilla buttercream. It was outside & boy was I nervous! An outdoor wedding on July 1st? But today is just gorgeous, high humidity but only 75 degrees (in Ohio.) Fortunate bride! The lilies are real. I stuck the stems in straws before putting them on.

From the adult swim tv show Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Chocolate mayonaise cake with buttercream frosting. The picture is my first FBCT! I'm pleased with how it came out and I was amazed that there weren't any problems. Lucky this time I guess :)

Made this one for my bunco group. Large dice are fondant. Small dice are plastic. First attempt with fondant modeling and pearls. Learned what to do different next time.
Thanks to bakermomof2 for the color and design idea!

this was for my bf's 22nd b-day. My sister helped me a WHOLE lot. I did the plaque in the middle out of royal icing and I did the character's Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad. Shake was a standard styrofoam cup, Frylock was a McDonald's fry container with strips of diabetic cake, and Meatwad was a small diabetic cake, specifically because my boyfriend is diabetic...just in case you didn't catch on haha.

This cake was made for a young lady that wanted a very simple wedding. I think it turned out nice except that the table it was setup on had mirrors and so it throws a shadow on the upper layers. The bride was very happy and she sent some business my way, so I am happy

Choc fudge cake inside, buttercream w/ MMF accents outside. I added candles to the top and wires w/ little fondant balls coming out of the sides, but not until I got it to the restaurant. Talk about a scary drive getting it there in one piece, Whew!

I made this cake for a second time after a customer saw the first one I made. The first time, it was one of the first cakes I made, so it was really neat to see my improvement this time around.

French Vanilla cake, frosted with Chocolate butter cream. Decorated with royal icing and fondant bow. This was my first bow, and it was much trickier than it looks. It was minutes away from going in the trash.

This is a first with the package bow (love it) and a first with the shoes (thanks a bazillion Nati) and a 2nd with the present box. The lid slid on the way over...but i was able to repair ir pretty well. Luckily a freebie and no one noticed anyway. Still thicked though. Picture is from before the slide. I think I will do styrofoam for lids from now on. Too stressful with cake! i think it is just too heavy.

My boss is severely allergic to any red food dye - so that means no pink, no purple, no red, no orange. Limiting! So this is what I came up with.

I did this cake for my nieces kindergarten class. The last day of school, they are having a wedding.....the letter Q is marrying the letter U. The only directions I got were colors: aqua and quince, two tiers, chocolate and vanilla. I made the Q and U toppers in color flow, but did not display in pic as I am having my sis put them on with royal when she gets to school.
