This wasn't actually for a b-day, I was just playing with my new pan and didn't know where else to stick this picture. We have a beagle dog, so of course my first attempt had to be Bailey!

This was my first time using marzipan. The barn was a Wilton stand up pan. The silo was a stack of fudge stripe cookies with icing as glue and a dowel in the middle.

This was a veryfun cake to make!! The piggy was made from two mini doll pans put together and mini cupcakes for his feet. He's sitting in a "mud puddle" of chocolate buttercream. The base cake is a classic yellow cake with raspberry cream filling. "Grass" and buttercream flowers wrap the border and sides of the cake.

Once again, I was only given the comforter to go off of, and this is what I came up with. This is a yellow two-tiered cake, with sugar cookie safari animals lining it..

This was a cake that I made for my best friend's baby shower. We decided to copy her nursery bedding. The sheet cake is a spice cake with cream cheese frosting. The red barn is just yellow loaf cakes cut and stuck together. The cowboy baby is pound cake made from the 3D bear pan (the cowboy hat isn't edible). The pigs and animal heads are royal icing, adn the rest of the animals are marshmallows, the hay bales are rice krispie treats, and the sunflowers are Jr. mints! This was fun to make!

This cake was a hit at my 3 year old twins' 3rd birthday party. It's 3 layers with buttercream frosting, candy clay figures, fondant trim with cut-out lettering and gumpaste vines and tree. The cake itself was chocolate for the top two tiers and white cake on the bottom.

11x15 Devils Food Cake, Filled with Devils Food Pudding. FBCT and MMF

My first try with FBCT. It was a lot of work making all of the characters, several of them broke because I decided to "trim" off the white background from them, so I did the best repair job I could. My shells leave much to be desired too, but seeing as I am making this cake at cost for my friends kids' double bday party, it was GREAT practice!

While my niece was visiting last week we decided to do a little baking. She loves monkeys, and saw several cakes on this site that inspired her. The cake is just an 8" round, and we cut out ears from a paper plate and frosted them, then stuck them in the sides of the cake. Not the most durable plan, but the ears lasted long enough for her friends to see it. That's all she really cared about. LOL

This guy is my very first sculpted cake. (It’s only the 3rd cake I have ever decorated other than slapping some frosting on a sheet cake! He didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. Next time there is a few things that I will do differently. It was a fun learning experience though and the family just loved him. I want to thank mjones17 for the instructions and to LittleBigMomma for her encouragement.

This customer sent an invitation to me and said do whatever you want. I wish they all said that. lol Anyway, I decided the invitation was so cute that I would just make the cake look like the invite. She thought it was really cute and paid me $5 more than I asked for and ordered a Hello Kitty cake for her daughter's B-day. Yeah! Yeah!

Marble cake with chocolate and buttercream icing. The antlers are fondant with vertical lines scribed into them to give a more real appearance (DH's idea). Fondant nose, eyes and inner ears painted black using food paste, fondant leaves painted brown. The only part which is not edible is the bullet shell. I have to improve on the eyes, one of this deer's eyes is a little high...

Marble cake with buttercream icing. Candy animals and blue fondant border. Fondant baby, royal icing and pretzel palm trees, edible image message. Had a hard time with this cake, wasn't sure how to incorporate jungle theme with a baby shower. Hope my customer likes it!
