Hi there!

Brand-new to this site so I dont know if this has been covered before but I am on the hunt for a BC recipe that is stiff enough to do roses and the like with but still tastes yummy!

My friend and I are taking a Wilton Method course right now and I find the class BC recipe a little....shorteningy....lol.

Anyways...if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!!

Thanks guys!

Hi Chole-

Try to look through some of the recipes for Buttercream. There are several in there. I think some of them even have notes that say it's stiff enough to use for roses and the like.

Wish I could be of more assistance.

I just finished course I. I used half butter, half crisco for that recipe. It tasted fine. Also, I tried half vanilla extract and half butter flavor (wilton's). It tastes pretty good to me.
