OK...I have 2 12x15 sheet cakes to bake... one chocolate the other yellow.
Now my question is, if I mix both up, because I want to put some yellow dollops in the chocolate mix, and some chocolate dollops in the yellow mix, (this is so it will give it a marble affect)......can one of the cakes set on the counter in the pan already mixed while the other cake is baking????
I bake at 325 til cake is done...so it will be well over an hour sitting and waiting....

Will be fine...I do it all the time with no problems. Just keep it covered until ready to pop in oven.
