Would the upside down method of icing a cake be okay to use with Cream Cheese Icing?

If you have a crusting cream cheese icing it should be ok.

Danielle,

The upsidedown method is explained on this website step by step with pictures. I have never tried it myself but it looks pretty simple. Since I've just recently started cake decorating I am still trying different methods to figure out which one I like best. This website is perfect for me, I'm so glad I found it!
From what I understand the upsidedown method is the only method some people use to frost thier cakes. You can find the directions if you do a search for "upsidedown method" in the articles page.
