I can't remember where I saw it....but someone was talking about designing a scraper for the kitchen aid and having her brother make it. Does anyone remember this? I could sure use one!!
Thanks!
I don't recall reading anything on this website. But since you bring it up, I received a free kitchen aid spatula with my mixer, and let me tell you, it works better than any other. When I received it, I just put it in the drawer with all my other spatula's (I have ALOT) didn't think much about it besides, "Oh a free spatula, cool". But when mixing up some cookies one day, I needed to scrape bowl, reached in and grabbed the spatula, I'm telling you, it curved and formed right to the bowl. It scraped that bowl CLEAN. Idon't know how much it cost, because it was free, but I'm telling you, it would of been worth paying for. I do also have a large scraper from Wilton that I use when getting all the frosting out and into containers. Never tried it on batters though. Just my two cents!!
I have the kitchenaid scraper, paid $10 for it (ouch!) but it was well worth it. It's shaped perfectly to match the curve of the bowl, and I use it all the time!
Here's a link to it at www.kitchenaid.com (if the link doesn't work, search for "mixing spatula")

Laura.
I use the heavy large white scraper that you can purchase from the dollar store and believe you me...can clean that bowl clean and it fits to the contour of the bowls.
