For those of you who use Magic Strips, when using a 3 inch pan do you place them near the top of bottom of the pan? thanks!

Are those the Wilton silver things that you put around the pan?

If so.... I do use them, and for this I would put them around the bottom of the pan.

The idea is that they keep the temperature of the batter on the outside more equal with the inside. So you'd want them where most of the batter is (in the beginning cooking time). IMHO...

Might be a good idea to check the temp of your oven.

I use 2 strips and wrap the whole thing.
