Had 2 weddings today. Ist wedding cake was to be delivered at 11:00 and 2nd one by 12:30.

1st cake decorated last night--did not like design and had to scrape off frosting and re-decorate.
Loaded 1st cake at 10:30 and got there a little early--waited until 11:00 and no one showed. Called bride--coordinator was supposed to be there between 11;00 and 11:30 to set up tables. Coordinator set up last night. Flowers were delivered at 11:30 and finally got into church. Table not set with linen for cake--caterer not coming until 2:00. Left cakes with large sign "Do Not Touch".

Decorated 2nd cake this AM--could not find my pattern press so made one from thin tin cookie cutter. Delivered cake--a lady handed me the flowers to put on the cake and around the bottom (See Cheryl's cake). Told lady that bride had someone to do that but was told lady could not make it. So threw the flowers around the cake and bride only wanted 1 sprig on top. (looked funny to me but, hey---)

Rushed back to 1st wedding--it's now 1:00--wedding at 3:00. Tables are still not covered. Finished decorating cakes and waited for caterer. In the meantime, I was asking for the cake topper--flowers. Nobody knew anything--searched around all floral pieces--no cake topper. Ran to store and bought flowers. Threw on top of cake (Kara's cake), caterer finally made it and got table set-up.

Now to Niece's daugther's BD--didn't have time to make her cake because of the problems with weddings.

Good Lord--I'm beat!!! Sorry so long--had to vent.
