I am trying to get a fountain to add to my cake supply. Can anyone give me advice on which one is the best? Thanks in advance.
I have the one they sell at Michael's, not sure what it's called, but it's the less expensive of the two Wilton offers. I used a 50% off coupon on a holiday about 4 years ago, and it was well worth the approx $40 I think I paid for it! I have used it at least 3-4 times a year and had no problems.
I asked the owner of our local cake store about them and he said the main diff is you can buy replacement parts for the more expensive one, I decided w/ the Michael's coupon it was worth it to buy the cheap one and if it goes bad I can afford to replace the entire thing!
Hey firegal79--
I got one of my fountains from Michael's--used the coupon so that it was about $40.00. But I also got one from Ebay for about $10.00 w/o shipping.
Hey Firegal79,
I have the Color Flow & the Easy Flow (or is is called Magic Flow) from Wilton. They look a lot alike but one is larger w/ 2 lights & the other one only has 1 light. I paid $110 for one & $40 for the other. I really like them & the go great w/ any cake, any way you want it~ Good luck finding you one~ I love mine!!

I too recently bought a wedding cake fountain, from eBay (just to add to my inventory). Mine is a 5-tier large fountain. i love it, but to use it with the 13 1/2" pillars you can only use 3 tiers of it. I got mine for around $40 w/ shipping included, the seller was efavormart (I think) and they have a whole store of wedding supplies. Good luck
