Hi Everyone,

I've been watching the site for a few weeks now, but never posted. I've gotten some good ideas and seen some really beautiful work. I've posted a few of my pictures and was looking for some feedback on them. I've only received it on my wedding cake. I've only been doing cakes seriously for the last 6 months, but this site has encouraged me to try several new things. I'm also wondering if there's anyone who's in Virginia on here. I've seen lots of TX, but no VA.

I'm a newbie too, but I think your cakes are very good. I especially love the wedding cake with the stargazer lilies. Your cakes are very creative.

Your cakes look great! I'm having a hard time keeping up with all of the cakes being posted. This site has grown so much since I joined less than a year ago! Don't feel discouraged if you don't hear anything.

OMG you have only been at it for 6 months??!! I have been doing this for about a year and a half and my cakes don't look like that!! your work is beautiful.

Very lovely cakes, good for you! I think that a lot of us don't visit the galleries unless someone points out that they have made a cake or posts it in general posts. That is likely why you didn't receive comments. I love the stargazer lily cake and the square with the heart shaped cake on top, in particularly!

Your cakes look great! My favorites are the wedding cake and the medical cake. Very creative! I finished my beginner course about 7 1/2 months ago. It's amazing how much you can learn from this site. I wish that I had discovered it sooner! Keep up the good work.

Your cakes look great. You are so brave to do a wedding cake when you haven't been decorating for too long. WOW! The wedding cake turned out beautiful. I also especially love the "Guess How Much I Love You" cake. It makes me think about my 3 year old son and my 1 1/2 year old daughter.

Your cakes do look wonderful! I have an ancient computer and VERY SLOW dialup so I usually just can't look up pictures unless I am looking for something in particular. Otherwise I would be falling asleep waiting for it to load. NO LIE!

Thanks for all the great feedback. It really encouraged me to keep trying to start up a business. Now I know to start a post if I have something I really want people to critique for me. I'm really enjoying my time spent on here. I have to be careful though because my dh says I'm getting addicted. I'm sure that doesn't sound familiar to anyone else. I'm looking forward to learning more from all you wonderful decorators out there.
