Boys or girls??? My daughter is 12 and she thinks things like blood shot eye balls are a cute idea to put on top of a Halloween cupcake.....maybe little tombstones....creepy stuff.

If you go to the "Articles" section of this website, there are tons of ideas for Halloween Cupcakes, under the "Projects" category icon_smile.gif

HTH!

Next time you go to the grocery store, check out the magazines. One of them (Woman's Day, Better Homes & Gardens or something) has a ton of cupcake ideas just on the cover, and probably more inside.

I saw a good one recently...it was for brownies but you could do it on top of cupcakes as well...

take a large marshmallow and attach it on top of a cooled brownie (or cupcake) with a drop of icing. Make somewhat thin white icing and pour a spoonful on top of the marshmallow so that it drips over the marshmallow and just a bit over the brownie. Give a few minutes to dry then use black icing to draw eyes/mouth to resemble a ghost.

Similarly, make a somewhat thin mint green icing and pour a spoonful on top of the marshmallow. Use black icing to draw eyes/mouth and nobs on the sides of the "neck" to resemble frankenstein. Take red fruit rollup, cut up a rectangle piece large enough to cover top of marshmallow - cut strips halfway of rectangle piece all the way across (like the teeth of a comb) so that it looks like bangs.

You can also do a spider w/ black icing on the marshmallow w/ white eyes and black liquorice for legs.

I can't remember the website but hopefully my explanation is easy enough to understand.
