Basketweave On Square Cake???

how do i do a basketweave on top of a square cake? i only learned how to use a round template in my wilton cake class.
i want to do a basketweave to resemble this napkin.

upload the pic of the napkin so that we can help you a bit better. And refer back to your course book for help with the basketweve, if you took the Wilton course.

All you need to do to the cake to do basketweve on any cake is make sure you keep dividing up the cake and make sure you have an even number of markings, if not it will not end up right. dide it in half and that half in half and so on till you have the width you are happy with for the basketweve. I hope that isn't confusing... but it probably is. Good Luck

thanks. i thought i attached the napkin, guess it didn't work. i must be doing something wrong.

i'll try doing it TINARE's way.
