Did anyone watch the new Martha Stewart everyday show on TLC yesterday.... They had a wedding theme on and Donald Trumps Prego wife along with her 200,000 dollar wedding dress.

The reason why I am so mad is because she gave everyone in her audience a pink ka mixer... That is not fair at all.......

If you have not seen the show check it out on TLC ( the learning channel)) i am so hooked today they have a jean theme... She teaches you how to do all sorts of cool things and has great guest on their too.....

Thanks

I saw and fell in love with the pink KA mixer when I saw it at the mall. I have been hinting like crazy to EVERYONE that I know that I would LOVE to have "SANTA" bring me one.

Before I started culinary school and had the life "SUCKED" out of me..( I look like I've aged 20 years for goodness sake!)

I was such a girlie girl..that a pink mixer would just be a logical thing..lol

They should make one in camouflage, too.

icon_smile.gif are you literally mad ? I can't understand why someone giving something to a group of people would make anybody mad. Oh well !
YOu can always buy one , if you really want that so badly.

I have a Blue one and I'm happy with it. Have a very wonderful week-end thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gificon_cool.gif

Well Boyd, I know that Alton Brown on the Food Network has a KA that is painted black with yellow and orange flames on it. Like a motorcycle paint job. Very manly. Maybe you could paint yours camouflage. thumbs_up.gif

Boyd, You could probably take your KA to any autobody shop and get it tricked out in camo! It would probably cost you as much as a new mixer, but you only live once!

That would be soooooo cool....especially if you have a shop of some sort....leave it out on the counter.....what a conversation piece. That would also make a fantastic business card....

hey....I think we're on to something here!

You know....I do all sorts of airbrushing and mural painting....heck...I even painted the name on my husband boat.....maybe I could offer my services to "personalize" Kitchen aids! What a concept!

I like the camo idea! If they came out with that my husband would buy me another one just to buy it - because it's camo! hmmm ~ I know they make camo kits for cars - who knows!

Hey Boyd! In New Braunsfels Texas there is a shop that says they can "camo" anything. My boss had her kitchen cabinet doors, and her REFRIGERATOR camo-ed. It can get expensive though, plus you'd have to pay the shipping charges. But if you really wanted a camo KA. That's the way to go.

I want a pink one too!! Not sure it would really go with my kitchen but I am a girly girl and what could be better than a pink kitchen aid?

My MIL got a pink one. She is a breast cancer survivor and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the pink ones goes to cancer research.

Well, if you can get your hands on an airbrush machine and some stencils, you could do it with enamel, no problem!

*edit - I should mention an airbrush machine not used for food purposes..... ever. Just in case someone out there didn't know.

Hi Everyone,
I don't post much but do read a lot appericate all the help you ladies and gentlemen share. I have 3 Ka's pink, red and white, love them all. But that's not really why I'm posting most everyone here seems to be so nice and willing to share always having a positive attitude. There does seem to be one person on here who has a very negative attitude everytime she posts. I read and see everyone giving encouragement then I see her posts, is her life so bad she only gets satisfaction from being negative to others?Maybe she should spend a little time mixing a happy potion in her blue mixer.

I watch Martha everyday...glad to see that she has mellowed out alot.

If she was even 50% as bad as they portrayed her on her movie...that woman was a trip!!!!

I know I'm more than a little late on this thread, just had to add that I'd pay good money to have someone paint barbed wire on mine -- that would be awsome!

If I can get my boss to give me some pictures of her camo kitchen, I'll post them. She's the one that I made my deer in the woods cake for, and her husbandis the one that I made the deer head cake for.

Can ya tell they enjoy hunting? Hee, Hee!
