Hi everyone! This is my first post, but I have enjoyed this site for quite sometime. Anyways, on Sat. I'm going to make a Louis Vuitton cake, similar to the one in the picture I have posted.

I'm thinking of using 2 loaf pans. The person I am making it for wants it to be chocolate .. So should I be using a pound cake recipe, since it is a 3D Cake?? Any good recipes out there?? How do I adjust the bake time for a cake in a loaf pan??

Any helpful hints are greatly appreciated

Thanks!!
LL

I use this method when doing 3-D cakes, Cake Mix,
ingredients for cake mix, replacing milk, buttermilk or flavored coffee creamer for the water, Add an extra egg and add jello pudding powder to the dry cake mix. This has always worked for me, Chocolate fudge cake with Chocolate fudge pudding and hazelnut creamer is very good.
