Help.....I want to start a web site but I have no idea where to start, I know that you need a domain name and I already have that. I'm just not sure where to go from there. I tried using a local internet provider but I didn't understand how to get it up on the internet. Is there any EASY way to start a web site?

I know there are some free ones out there, but mine is thru Register.com. I had it up in under 2 hours and I know NOTHING about websites. (Thank god my computer expert son-in-law handles the cookie one for me!)

First, you already have the main part taken care of: a domain name.

Next is to find a webhosting site. I suggest AddAction or SurfSpeedy. Both are like $50 for 6 months.

As for website design, with these you usually get a template you can use or you can start from scratch with ZenCart or Joomla or OsCommerce.

SurfSpeedy has a free hosting special right now.
