Someone posted this last week but I just wanted to put out word again. Martha Stewart Apprentice is tonight and guess what? They are to design and sell wedding cakes. Can't wait to see this episode!

well, I watched it and was semi entertained. I think it was more exciting watching them fight then getting much detail on the cakes. Love the part were they were loading the car and the girl flipped out thinking they had dropped it. you could see her say "O, F#*&!" LOL The one teams cake hardly got talked about and they sold five!

It was on the same time as lost so as I toggled in between two channels, I REALLY got lost!

I'm bummed that I at least didn't get to see the cakes. My DH is a big fan of Lost, so I couldn't watch any part of Martha because he wouldn't even let me turn the channel during commercials!

well, I'd say you didn't miss much. The show focused more on the selling of the cakes. I thought they were both pretty but the winning one was much more of a "generic" design.

I could not believe that they would not change the "pink cake" to fit the brides color's!!!! I just wanted to slap that girl! Of course...you can...if you want the sale!!!! And yes, the winning cake was pretty generic. I will say...I was amused.

I didn't get a chance to watch the show last night but I taped it.!! Thank God. I usually forget

no joke--that should have been their biggest selling point--"colors to match any wedding". Then they would have sold tons.

I saw from that part when they were loading the cake into the van..
The Pink Cake was also pretty, I think it's the Pink Color that turned off a lot of potential customers. And that is something that can changed to whatever color the customer wants and that's not hard to do but they were not willing to do it.... Thw White Cake can go with any motif.
