I've been looking through some back issues of Mailbox News and have noticed a couple of mentions of decorators using a "lace impression mat" to get beautiful designs on the side of cakes. I've looked through a number of web sites (especially Earlene's) and can find lace impression rollers, but not mats.

The most recent issue of MBN was July/August 2004 but maybe the tool is from years past and is no longer made? Would anyone know where I can find one? Thanks for your help!

Thanks, gang. Ditzy me, I forgot that I'd seen them before on Sugarcraft. icon_redface.gif $48 is way out of my price range, so I must've had a mental block about seeing them. I'll have to start saving my spare change to make it add up.

Thanks again! icon_lol.gif
