Tonight on Food Network: Good Eats: Alton Brown will do a whole show about buttercream. The show is called: The Icing Man Cometh. My dad just called and told me to info it. I'll be watching but I thought some of you with questions about the different types of buttercream might be interested. Hopefully he will explain buttercream, IMBC, and some variations! Just wanted to let everyone know...

Ok I feel bad now for telling everyone to watch.... To me the show should have been called The Cake Man because it was mostly about cakes. Alton gave one recipe for buttercream, then moved on to leveling cakes, torting, filling, making ganache, smoothing and so on.... I was hoping to get some really good buttercream recipes. But it was still interesting!
