OK, I believe that Cakecentral is alot like caffeine, alcohol, and other dependant things. I try to get off and I do....for like 2 mins if that and I am right back on. I find I am spending much of my days now on here, and I will not stop now until they drag me away kicking and screaming, with or without a straight jacket!!!!!!!!!! What is it about this place? Am I just totally bored, or perhaps there is a deeper problem! icon_biggrin.gificon_smile.gificon_sad.gificon_cool.gificon_lol.gificon_razz.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_wink.gifthumbs_up.gif

LOL!! I find myself walking back to my home office to do something on the computer, end up checking in on Cakecentral to see what's going on, make a post or two and then walk away. I then realize I didn't do what I needed to do in my office, so you know what that means!!?? I get to walk back to my computer and check in on Cakecentral again!!! This gets repeated a dozen or so times a day!! icon_biggrin.gif

Ya'll are just hilarious. I stumbled on this site back in January and told my sister about it and now she and I are hooked. This site is so great and so are all the gals and "cookieman" here and other guys if there are any more. I have a question and I ask and I receive an answer, plain and simple. Thank goodness for everyone here and all their knowledge. You all make me a better decorator.

That is the truth!! Cakecentral is making us all better decorators & cakecentral addicts!!! icon_eek.gif I've got my friend Tammy hooked too!! She just joined the forum! I've shown her all the stuff I've learned via email because she is in England. A lot of the time she tries the tips before me! She's good!!

Cookieman is great! He might be the only guy who will tell the truth about things, lol!! Thanks cookieman!! shhh.gif

I'm addicted to this forum big time! tapedshut.gif I'm not working right now so all I have to do is clean house, run kids here & there, volunteer on the FD, check posts, look at pics, check posts... etc!!!! What a better way to spend your day!!

I love cakecentral & all of you wonderful decorators!!!!!!!!!!!! icon_smile.gif

I'm happy for all the interesting and helpful stuff on this website and I'm like Tina as I check in several times a day when I'm at home. I switched from AOL to another srevice in November and miss the moms chat I went to for years. Aside from IMing with my sisters some eveningsI've been feelin kinda lonesome. I feel like I have friends online again since finding cakecentral. I was feeling burned out after doing two wedding cakes a week apart in October, and they were my first and second. Now I'm itching to get back into doing cakes again. To be honest I don't see myself doing it big time because I don't like doing things I don't like myself. Is that clear as mud or what? There's a lot I want to learn to do I just don't want the pressure/stress of dealing with brides and their mothers for wedding cakes. I'm thinking anniversary cakes etc are more where my interest lies. I sure appreciate everyone here and the friendliness and willingness to share the good and the disappointments. So I guess I'm hooked with the rest of you. And I have to say it feels pretty nice!! Thanks gang!!

It is so great to have a place where if you have a question it can be asked. For instance, I needed advice on whether or not a certain product would be decent enough for me needs. I got my answer, and with those answers (plus the money I was saving on the product) I was able to convince my husband to let me get it. thumbs_up.gif
Also if it wasn't for this site, I would not have known about the The Cake Mix Doctor book. I just bought it today at Barnes and Noble for $13.95 + tax. I love how it has a picture of all the cakes that are in the book right after the front cover. I can't wait to start making everything in that book thumbs_up.gif
