I do not know if i am in the right section for this question, but i will thank you in advance for helping me with this. I am doing my first-ever craft show on 10/15/05 and i am making sugar cookies. I do not have a business name or anything, as i am just just starting out. But i was wondering how you list the ingredients on your cookies. Do you have to list every ingredient? For example, if you used wiltons black coloring in the fondant decorations on your cookies, would you take the list of ingredients off of the back of the wilton's box and put them on the list of ingredients in your cookies? Same goes for crisco, fondant, etc.

Thanks again.

That's the way it's usually done on products. I would rather be safe than sorry I guess.

Bumping for anyone else to maybe help. icon_wink.gif

I have to do the same thing to sell at farmer's markets. I just list the ingredients as they're listed in the recipe and don't go into what's in the crisco or the food coloring. I list crisco as "100% vegetable shortening" and food coloring as "red paste food coloring" or whatever. For icing or fondant, I do list those ingredients separately under the main ingredient list. Good luck at the craft show! thumbs_up.gif
