AWhat would you normally charge for a cake like this? Then think how good of a friend she is and if she asked you for a discount. Keep in mind that you've got a lot of work on a wedding cake and you shouldn't give a discount just because she's a friend, your time can be easily well spend to other things. Don't underestimate your skills, if she's a good friend she'll know how many time and effort you'll be having to make her wedding cakeo

This would have 80 Wilton wedding size servings (in the USA).

How much will you spend on ingredients and supplies?

How long will it take you to create and deliver (and cut at the wedding?) this cake?

Since we do not know your skill level or your costs, no one on this forum can tell you how much to charge.  Figure out the information above and decide the price.

If you charge $2 per serving, that's $160.  Are you willing to give your friend a $160 gift?

If you charge $3 per serving, that's $240.  Are you willing to give your friend a $240 gift?

If you charge $4 per serving, that's $320.  Are you willing to give your friend a $320 gift?

If you would normally plan on spending $50-$80 on a gift for this friend for his/her wedding, are you willing to spend more to make the cake?   And, by the way, who asked you to make the cake?  OR, did you volunteer?

If you offered the cake as a gift you obviously wont be charging her anything, if she asked you to make it you could go with Apti's sensible priceplan and knock off 10% as a gift.
