AI made a cheesecake on christmas eve with a whisked double cream over the top and i checked yesterday and the cream has got cracks in it does this mean its off ?

Ayou stored it in the fridge yes? i think it's ok but then again i'm not sure what double cream is -- but a crack in and of itself does not indicate something is bad to eat

I think the "how did you store it?" question is the important one.

AMy guess is that it dried out. Did you cover it in cling film? I hate the take of double cream and I'm using whipped cream IN my cheesecake, not ON.
