Hello everyone!

I need to make a chalkboard cake and the writings need to be placed on the black fondant on the cake.

Just wondering if candy chalk would give the same effect as chalk, or what else I can use? I can't find a tutorial or instructions on how to make one at all!

Please help!

Thanks

I've seen it done using a piece of white chocolate/candy melt. Works very well.

I made this chalk board cake and did not have luck using candy melts for the writing.  I ended up painting the writing on with white gel coloring and a paint brush.  Dab thepaint brush on a paper towel before writing so the white looks thinner and more chalky
