AIs there any way you can replace those with smaller ones? If not, double sided tape or glue dots?

AThat's why I use upsidedown 9 oz cups. The lids have a raised ring, that when used as the bottom, holds the cupcake in place. I 've literally transported 1000s of cupcakes that way.

APiping gel will work/hold them in place.

I had been racking my brain trying to figure out how you did that from another thread.... you use the lid as the holder!!! Genius!!!! And here I was thinking you were just turning the cupcake upside down so the icing was smooshed :duh:. herp derp. I will be doing that for the next holiday I bake for. ;-D Thank you!

If there's a cheap, practical and/or easy way to do something, I'll bet I've done it.  I'm not into complicating my life any more than it is naturally.

I buy the cups at GFS.  They cost about half that and there are 3 GFS stores in my city.  But really, 30 cents is a great price for those cupcake holders.
