How Do I Store A Cake With Buttercream And Fondant?

AI just started making my own buttercream for my fondant cakes. I usually cover a cake in fondant 1-2 days before party. Then store on counter. Now i don't know what to do because a a fondant shouldn't be refrigerated but buttercream can't sit out! Help!

AI have read it is perishable and needs to b refrigerated. But i have a recipe that doesn't have milk in it-just butter

ATh are very few, if any, buttercreams that need refrigeration. Even the ones with a little milk. The sugar acts as a preservative.

does anyone have a really good buttercream recipe they would share that works well under fondant?
