AIve seen this question before. ...im really not sure of the answer to be honest so maybe someone will chime in but im thinking you have to pipe all the little string work in between the flowers...

Hi,

This is actually very simple...a little time consuming maybe...You just cut out the flowers ,leaves out of fondant...place them on the cake and then pipe strings connecting them (royal icing)

HTH :)

No it's definitely lace molds to make little applique pieces that are applied to the cake with piped strings connecting them. No lace mat needed.

I belive I have seen these types on Fondant laces on Caljava online. Check them out. Some of them come pre-manufactured. Please leave your comment if you fine one.

I didn't even use any lace molds.. just regular gumpaste cutters.. It really is very simple.
