AJust need a little help price this cake and I'm Southern California ( the OC) Already have a number but want to make sure I'm not totally off base. Client wants super hero cake for 30p people. This is picture she provided below. I was thinking of doing 4", 6" and 8" tiers and giving her a price with edible hand ($250) and non-edible hand ($200).

Should I charge less or more?

after clearing copyright issues you should charge the same whether the hand is edible or not -- the hand popping up out of a 4" cake is gonna be a very small hand -- maybe 2" x 3" give or take -- $8 - $10 a serving sounds good $12 if the traffic will bear

Just the hassle of getting all the copyright permissions would push me up to $300 for that.  What a lot of paperwork!
