How Much Ganache To Cover Only

Hi everyone, Im wondering how much ganache i need (in grams) to cover a 7 inch cake? I do not need it to fill the cake just cover it. Anything I can find is for filling and covering?

http://www.cakecentral.com/t/741743/the-ganacherator Follow that link and you will find ' The Ganacherator' - super helpful. Just open it up, enter the height of the finished cake, put in 0 for the layers and 7inch for the diameter of the cake and it will do all the working out for you.

I love the 'Ganacherator' that bubs1stbirthday mentioned!  Finally used it for the first time last month for a 3 tier cake, and I really didn't think it was going to be enough.  It actually turned out to be exactly the amount I needed, had about 1/2 cup remaining.  Love it!
