I have made red high heels for a cake topper.  The airbrushing didn't come out as smooth as I would have liked, so I'm thinking of covering the toe of the shoes with some sparkle.  Is there a way to do this?  If I use gum glue over the red airbrushing, it will just make a mess.

Don't have time to make new shoes, so I am desperate for help!  Thank you in advance!!

Piping gel might work OK.  It's not very viscous. I'd try it on a scrap piece of red gum paste first.

I was a little worried that it might allow the sparkles to smudge, but it seems to be working beautifully!  I think it will set hard after they sit overnight.

This is just for a wedding cake topper, which I am handing over to someone tomorrow for a cake on Saturday.  Not knowing how they will be handled concerns me, but I think they will be just fine :)

Thank you again!!!!!!
