AI'm looking at the DH recipe posted here that asks for 4 egg whites along with other ingredients to be added when making the recipe - my question is - can you substitute meringue powder instead of egg real egg whites? how much mp would you use to replace the whites?
meringue powder has egg white as an ingredient with sugar and starch and other things so seemingly it's not the best substitute -- but i've never tried it -- if you do please post your results --
if i used mp i would think i'd guess 5 tablespoons mp based on the ratios in these recipes
