A Has anyone made cutout cookies to look like a playdough container? I did a search but couldn't find anything. Thanks

AI'm not sure what you are wanting to make - the actual container the play dough comes in out of cookies? I haven't tried making a cutout cookie in a ring shape, but I know you can do this with tuiles. I've seen a professional chef make a cup out of tuiles, then I think he lined it with melted choc to make it waterproof and then filled it with hot chocolate for people to drink. Tuiles are easy to shape when baked, and then you could use a cutout cookie circle for the base and top for strength.

Forgive me if I have completely misunderstood what you are wanting to make!

ASorry I should have been more specific. I want to just make a flat cut out sugar cookie that looks like the front of a playdough container. I looked up some pictures but not sure what kind of cutter to use.

This might be the hard way, but I would get a picture of the container that I want the cookies to look like and make a template out of card stock or acetate, then use a sharp knife or exacto knife to cut the cookies out of the dough.  Alternatively you can google how to make your own cookie cutter, which is easier than it looks, but I would only do that if you are making a ton of them.
