Can anyone suggest a good brand name to use? I found one online that someone is selling for $100 for both but they used it for nails. Do you think it would be ok to clean it out and then use for cakes? They are selling a 20A compressor with an airbrush.

I would not do that.…..save your money and buy a good variable 0-20 psi airbrush or in the long run you will be disappointed with a cheapie on this tool.

AIf you have a harbor freight near you they have a wonderful table top air compressor. It has a variable pressure you can go up to 60 psi. But I would not recommend going above 30 psi. I believe the set is about $80,

It comes with a gun, but I have since upgraded to a better gun. It's actually in my opinion better than some of the ones that are geared towards cake decorating and it's cheaper
