Hi there!

I am beginning to prototype my first modeling chocolate project;  a bust of the Wicked Witch of the West. (on styrofoam) My instincts tell me I need to wait until closer to the date I need to display this bust, (November), to create it. However, since I have a have a large amount of time and enthusiasm on my hands I'm tempted to start it now. If anybody have a tips or stories about storing modeling chocolate, I would greatly appreciate them! Thank you!

Are you actually using modeling chocolate or candy clay (made from candy melts)?

AJust keep it in a cool place so that heat doesn't get to it. And make sure there are no rodents in the area - I put a piece in a box in the garage, which was not so smart. :(

Yep should be fine! Keep in cool, dry place and you're good.
