Hello! I have to make navy colored cake pops and the last time I did this for a wedding using candy color oil everyone's teeth and mouth turned blue. How can I avoid this?  I was so embarrassed!!

air brushing might help where there's not as much color being used--but i advise my brides at the consult about dark colors and guests' teeth -- if they want something black i talk 'em into chocolate but there's that black chocolate you can get too from king arthur flour but i'm off on a tangent now :-D but the other thing i wanna say is that i remind my brides that the cake is food --that's how i get away with using butter and real vanilla where they don't' get optic white cake icing either-- maybe that will help for next time
