Ahi everyone..im new here and posting first time. im a new self taught cake maker and needed some quick help.might seem like a silly question but i thought this was the best place to ask. i have a engagement cake to hand in less then a week. the cake will have two roses on both tiers. i needed to know how long does fondant roses need to dry and do i still have enough time to make them.

ADay 1: make rose centers in stick or wire or nothing depending on design Day 2: row 1 of petals. Allow to dry for 20 min. Row 2.

Repeat until finished.

AUse gumpaste and yes one week is more than sufficient time as it dries very fast. If you are new to gumpaste you should look into it before starting to use it.
