Hi I am looking for some advice, I am really wanting to start up my own business from home (I live in central Scotland) starting with cupcakes and then moving into edible wedding favours, cupcake  and chocolate parties etc.  I would not quit my own job so this would be at nights and weekends (I know it might be hard to fit it in but I have to at least try), hopefully within a few years after having children I don’t need to go back to work and do this part time for some extra money.  My question is apart from mastering the flavours, getting some business cards and the insurance/legal things all sorted…….  I am not sure where to start?

Should I give out some flyers round doors, hire a table at fairs to get my name out there and give some samples etc…….

Any advice would be fab and if anybody has any success stories I would be grateful if you got in touch to share what you did.

Thanks in advance.
