Hi all,

I've been making and decorating cakes for about a month now but have been using shop bought 'ready to roll' icing and then colouring etc.

But i'm finding this quite costly and wanted to see if making my own fondant would be more cost effective?

I've looked at Marshmallow fondant and a couple others and wanted some opinions as to what you guys do? (make it from scratch or by in bulk somewhere in the uk) or what recipes you find best?

Any experience or advice would be much appreciated pleaasssseeeee!!

Thanks

My favourite is from sugarpaste direct http://www.sugarpastedirect.co.uk/

If you want to make it look into michelle fosters fondant rather than marshmallow fondant.
