AI am making a 3 tier round cake and am a bit nervous of cake sliding around on the cake board. The size of the cake is a 10, 8, and 6. Any tips on how to prevent this from happening? My game plan is to dowel the cakes and have each one on its own cake board. I have a large cake drum to set the 10 inch cake on. The cake drum is covered in silver (it kinda looks slippery which makes me wonder if my cake will slid.) I do plan to put buttercream on cake drum before placing the 10inch on there. Any tips?
