AI'm having a hard time figuring out what tier sizes to make for a 75 serving 2-tier cake :-(
I use the Wilton guide to calculate, but a 10" & 12" will serve 68 (party servings) and anything other than that serves more than 75! Can someone please help with what 2-tier size cakes should I make?
Thanks!!
A ten and a twelve? Mercy....no, no no. A 5 8 11 would be about 73, that's perfect. Edited to add: sorry, I just noticed you mentioned the need for only two tiers. Any particular reason why? I wouldn't shove that many servings into a two tier, sorry. It just isn't going to look nice unless you have an incredibly gigantic topper to make it look proportional. If you absolutely have to have it two tiers, then disregard my suggestion. :(
AI discussed a 2-tier with my cousin for ease of transporting since her daughter's birthday is on a campground with gravel and bumpy roads.
If a 3-tier, then I guess a 6/8/10?

Industry standard (wedding servings), I'd suggest:
12x8=80
10sqx8=74
10x8x6=74

Man. This is amazing my goodness!!!! I'm pinning this in the office and work room thank you for sharing
AOk, well that is certainly not an everyday situation, so I'd go with what CWR suggested, opting for functionality over looks. Any other occasion, I'd go with mine. ;)
Thanks [@]morganchampagne[/@], I put that together little by little a few years back. Options for a 15"tier are missing because I never bought the pans. Squares, that's all I have in pans and will never buy odds cause I hate 'em. :p
