I was happy to see the suggestion to color the frosting before whipping.  Thanks for the tip.

I have put candy or fondant on top of my cupakes frosted with Bettercreme.  Does anyone else have the problem with the candy and fondant melting?  M&Ms actually bleed .  I keep the cupcakes in the refrigerator.   Anyone else have that problem?
